International Café
Trumpington International Cafe meets at the Church Centre on the corner of Alpha Terrace and Scotsdowne Road, each Tuesday morning during term time, 10-11:30am.
We welcome internationals from all backgrounds, cultures and religions and offer friendship and a place to meet others in a similar situation. Those with young children are welcome to bring them along too.
We sometimes enjoy international food or crafts together, or informal talks and discussions. We always enjoy refreshments and an opportunity to make friends and share news. (We ask for £1 contribution towards costs per adult)
For those new to the UK we also aim to provide an open and understanding environment to help with culture shock and misunderstandings and to be a safe place to practice English conversation.
