Leadership Team

 

Christ Church Trumpington is led by a team of three elders.

Andrew Sweasey (Pastor)

Andrew is the Pastor of Christ Church Trumpington. He lives in Trumpington with his wife Helen and their 4 children. Andrew grew up locally and prior to training for church ministry, worked as a Chartered Surveyor and Project Manager for a construction consultancy in Cambridge.

Andrew has been on the leadership team at Rock Baptist Church since 2010 and was Assistant Pastor between 2012 and 2014.

Andrew has been a primary school governor and now serves on the temporary governing body for the new secondary school in Trumpington that’s under construction. He also enjoys playing squash, cycling, watching football and cricket, and reading.

 

David Rowland

David is married to Ruth. They have three married daughters and five grandchildren. David is Professor of Music at the Open University and Director of Music at Christ’s College, Cambridge. He performs on the harpsichord and organ and conducts choirs.

 

Steve Hartley

Steve has lived in Trumpington for the last 28 years. He is married to Mary and they have two children – Tim (at university) and Hannah who attends a local sixth form college. Steve became a Christian in his early twenties and currently works for an engineering company in Bar Hill. In his spare time he enjoys walking, reading and cooking.
